In August of 2017, we had a catastrophic fire in our home, ( the heating element in our dishwasher never turned off). It was 12:30 A.M. Thank God, my wife and I were able to get out, and we also rescued our dog.  Hoffman Associates guided us to Gulfstream Insurance, our carrier, and thankfully, after 11+ months, we were able to move back into our Brand New Home (with brand new interior). Thank you to Hoffman Associates and Gulfstream, who were there by our side to answer all of our insurance questions. It's so good to know that when there is an insurance need, Hoffman Associates and Gulfstream are there.

I woke at 4:30 am to find an inch of water in our bedroom! Evidently, a pipe had burst and flooded the ENTIRE house - even went into the garage. I contacted a neighbor to see if I could borrow her wet/dry vac, and she told me to call our homeowner's insurance company IMMEDIATELY. We called at approximately 5:45 - 6:00 am (details are a little fuzzy - we were freaked out). Whoever answered the phone at Gulfstream told us she'd send someone, and around 1/2 hour later, a water mitigation company showed up at our door. The company they sent to help us was extraordinarily patient and put 23 different machines to extract moisture in our house.

In all areas, Gulfstream reacted in a positive, reassuring manner. Our settlement was fair, but most importantly, they were where we needed them the morning of the flood. Our claim was paid promptly.

I can't say enough good things about Gulfstream - if we ever move, we'll move our insurance with Gulfstream. You should be very proud of your response to our problem.


On Oct 10, 2019, our home and community in Panama City, FL, were severely damaged by Hurricane Michael. My family and I evacuated only hours before the storm hit. Although we thoroughly secured our home and business in every way possible, we did not anticipate the severity of the destruction.

Within days of the storm, we were able to make contact with a Gulfstream representative ... a live person, not a voicemail or other automated system, but an actual human.

Throughout the process of finalizing our claim with Gulfstream, Latoya was consistently professional. She followed-up when she said she would and always returned calls. At a time when many people in our community have had difficulty reaching a representative or scheduling appointments through their various insurance companies, we are grateful for the professionalism of Latoya at Gulfstream.
